JAMES THIBODEAU, PE
President
James is the owner and founder of Associated Design Partners, Inc. With over 33 years’ experience as a practicing engineer, he has gained valuable design experience through his dedicated involvement in countless civil and structural engineering projects. James’ practical, common-sense approach to design problems has earned him a distinguished reputation in the design and construction communities. He has gained extensive knowledge, through practice, in the fields of material science, building science, civil and structural engineering, forensic failure analysis, and construction industry code standards. Combining experiential knowledge with a practical engineering design approach, James has designed a myriad projects featuring steel, light gauge framing, aluminum, masonry, as well as wood structural systems.
AARON WILSON, PE
Vice President
In July 2003, ADP Aaron to address the growing needs of the firm. Aaron is a registered Professional Engineer who brings more than 20 years of experience in the structural design and engineering of municipal, commercial, and educational facilities. His expertise includes the engineering and design of steel, reinforced concrete, wood, masonry, light gauge steel, aluminum, glass, and earth retaining structures. He is well-versed in the use of IBC and ASCE codes with respect to structural design considerations. In addition to Aaron’s considerable engineering capabilities, he possesses a professional attitude, superior communication skills, and the ability to manage diverse projects from conceptual design to construction completion reflecting the founding principles of ADP. Aaron’s work ethic, practical problem-solving skills, and superior engineering capability helps provide our clients achieve high-quality, economical, and extremely functional facilities.
WARREN GEROW, PE, PLS
Project Engineer & Land Surveyor
Warren is a registered professional engineer, and a registered professional land surveyor, who has completed numerous forensic engineering investigations since he joined ADP in 2008. He has worked on cases for insurance companies, attorneys, and private owners throughout New England, covering a broad array of topics. These investigations include residential and commercial construction defects, residential fires, mold investigations, roof failures, blasting claims, foundation and retaining structure failures, building material failures, and product failures. He has an extensive working knowledge of currently adopted building codes and has completed numerous code studies for repair design work. He has performed the role of client representative and provided construction monitoring services for the reconstruction of various fire damaged structures, including testing, cleaning and sealing of fire damaged assemblies.
RICK COCHRAN
Designer & Drafter
Rick has over 9 years’ experience in CAD drafting of structural and architectural plans using AutoCad drafting software. Rick possesses the technical skills and aptitude to produce efficient, accurate, and detailed construction plans. His design abilities, coupled with 3 years of experience as a structural steel erector, bring a unique combination of technical and field experience to the Associated Design Partners team.
BETSY DAVIS
Executive Assistant
Betsy joined ADP in January 2010, having previously worked in administrative and financial roles for more than 32 years. She worked as the office and financial business administrator for an international HVAC firm in Maine, and as an office manager for a general contractor of custom homes. In addition to her administrative capabilities, she possesses a professional attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in an accurate and timely fashion.
